Tapiit AcademyWebsite design
Context
Specialist maritime training, delivered online.
The Tapiit Academy website was created to provide livestream and on-demand maritime training. Specialist training can be tied to specific locations, adding travel, accommodation and time away during leave, so the platform was designed to make more of that training accessible online.
The platform combined public-facing course discovery with authenticated application experiences and the integrations needed to deliver and pay for online training. My work covered both the Academy experience and broader application screens such as profiles and leave workflows.
Engineering contribution
From design into working product.
The work combined frontend product development with the backend and integration concerns needed to turn the designs into a working training platform.
Live training & payments
Worked with Zoom API/SDK for the training experience and Stripe API within the platform's payment flow.
Broader application work
Worked on application experiences beyond the Academy site, including profile and leave-request workflows used within the wider Tapiit platform.
