Product
A mobile product with a backend behind it.
The Crew Matters app brought together structured social activities and welfare support for seafarers, including live sessions, work/rest information and links to support organisations and maritime resources.
My responsibility on the project was the backend engineering. I worked closely with the mobile developer to expose the API behaviour and data the app needed, while supporting the integrations behind the wider experience.
My contribution

Mobile collaboration
Worked directly with the mobile developer around the data and API behaviour needed by the application.
Supporting services
Used ASP.NET Core, SQL and Swagger across the backend, with Zoom API/SDK supporting live-session functionality.
